Council President Kenneth Corcoran has been a resident of Cliffside Park for over 25 years. He has served on Cliffside Park’s Borough Council since 2006 and is presently the liaison to the Zoning and Planning Boards, Board of Education, Building Department, and Green and Redevelopment Committees. He is also the Acting Police Commissioner. Kenny has been involved in many Borough activities, from coaching basketball in our Recreation Department to serving as the Chairman of the Zoning Board. In addition, he is the Head Organizer of the Annual Diabetes Walk/Run in Cliffside Park. He has organized many improvements around town on his own time and initiative, such as restoring the Bell Tower at School Number 3. A carpenter by trade, Kenny is a representative for the New Jersey Regional Council of Carpenters, Carpenters Local 39 and an active member of the Cliffside Park Elks Club and Humane Society. Kenny and his family are active parishioners at Epiphany Church. He resides on Commercial Avenue with his wife, Karen, and their daughters, Katie and Jackie.
