Committee Assignments 2019: Library, Fire Department, EMS Department

Dana has been a member of Cliffside Park Borough Council since 2001. She is liaison to the public library and Commissioner to the Fire and EMS departments.   Prior to serving on the council, Dana was a trustee for the Library Board.  Since September 2002, Dana has been employed by the Cliffside Park Public School System as a Title I teacher, Reading Specialist, and Director of Curriculum.  On July 1, 2015, Dana was appointed to serve the school district as principal of School Number 5. Dana received her: Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Seton Hall University in 1986, graduating cum laude; Master of Education in Reading and Reading Specialist Certificate from William Paterson University in 1991, summa cum laude; and Certificate of Supervision and Master of Educational Leadership from St. Peter’s College, summa cum laude. Dana is a member of the New Jersey Principal and Supervisors’ Association, Association of Supervision and Curriculum Development among other educational associations.  Presently, she is a member of the 200 Club of Bergen County, serving as the scholarship chairperson.  Dana is a lifelong parishioner of Our Lady of Grace Church.  She resides on Oncrest Terrace with her husband, Brian, and daughter Briana. Her son, Christian, is a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Air Force and stationed in California.
